LANDESK Vice President of Human Resources Sue Urses Named HR Person of the Year by the Utah Technology Council

Award Honors Urses’ Tremendous Contributions to LANDESK’s HR Endeavors

SALT LAKE CITY — 18 de abril de 2016 —

LANDESK today announced that Sue Urses, Vice President of Human Resources, has been named HR Person of the Year by the Utah Technology Council. This award recognizes Urses’ two decades-long career exceling in human resources and her zealous efforts in establishing and effecting HR processes while at LANDESK.

In her nearly five years as head of LANDESK’s human resources, Urses has helped the company smoothly transition through the acquisition of seven companies and the resulting growth from 650 to 1200 employees in 22 countries. As LANDESK gains a greater international presence, Urses has led its cultural and people integration and provided strategic human resources that support short and long-term business goals.

“As our company has experienced rapid growth in the past few years, Sue has transformed our HR organization and helped create an environment where our people can grow and excel,” said Steve Daly, CEO of LANDESK. “I am grateful for her tireless efforts, her breadth of vision and her devotion to making LANDESK a great company and a great place to work.”

Urses possesses the inherent ability to lead LANDESK’s global team of human resource professionals and promote a happy workplace for all international employees. To increase the well being of both LANDESK’s veteran employees and recent hires, she has created multiple employee programs that streamline HR processes. She designed and implemented a global compensation model, and employee wellness program called LANDESKFit, and has championed the company’s employee feedback and cultural assessment survey, called LANDESKListens.

Urses also revamped LANDESK’s review process by introducing an employee-focused performance management and review program, and led the implementation of a peer-to-peer employee recognition program. These and other initiatives were thoughtfully designed to facilitate a connected, content company culture throughout the world.

Among her many other hats, Urses acts as executive sponsor of LANDESK’s industry-leading STEM program that provides employees paid voluntary time off (VTO) hours to use in support of STEM education in Utah and around the world. She is a true believer in the importance of STEM, further emphasized by her role as co-chair of the HR Forum for the Utah Technology Council.

These extensive efforts and experiences in HR, especially as they are within the technology industry, qualify Urses for this distinguished recognition from the Utah Technology Council.
